I am the Vice President, Programs and Web site Advocate for Mountain State Centers for Independent Living and work out of our Sistersville branch office.
As the Vice President, Programs I am responsible for supervising, providing training and support to the program staff and providing assistance to the President/CEO on completion of federal reports. I am responsible for the coordination of our Community Living Services Program and Employment Services Division.
As the Web site advocate, I am responsible for getting the word out about our Web site and its extensive resources and coordinating efforts with Nancy Massey, our Director of Marketing and Communication, for promoting activities using our Web site. I attend the WV Legislature and provide pertinent legislative information on our Web site that impacts the lives of people with disabilities.
I live in a small rural community with my husband of 27 years, three cats and a lively pound puppy. My daughter and her husband live in New Martinsville with their son. I have worked in and been a part of the disability community for approximately 27 years. I have asthma and severe allergies. Although I have never been officially diagnosed as having Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS), I do have a severe sensitivity to certain inhalants and pollutants.
You can reach me in the Sistersville office at 304-652-2116 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Monday through Friday, or send me an email bgoodfellow@mtstcil.org.
