National Council on Disability is an independent federal agency making recommendations to the President and Congress to enhance the quality of life for all people with disabilities.
US Department of Labor - Office of Disability Employment Policy was authorized by Congress in 2001 to ensure that people with disabilities are fully integrated into the workforce.
The Maryland Department of Disabilities is charged with unifying Maryland state policy regarding people with disabilities.
Texas Disability Policy and Resources is a Governor's committee whose goal is to provide input/report information received from people with disabilities to the Governor and the Texas legislature in an effort to increase access.
Massachusetts Office on Disability was created in 1981 and is a state advocacy agency that serves people with disabilities.
