MTSTCIL will support legislation that requires the state Medicaid agency to furnish to Medicaid recipients monthly itemized statements of all assistance or services claimed to facilitate the verification of the accuracy of stated claims.
MTSTCIL supports legislation that will require the WV Capitol Building Commission to insure that any modifications are in compliance with the American's with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act in addition to adding the State ADA Coordinator as a member of the capitol building commission.
MTSTCIL will support legislation that creates a registry containing names of employees from any agency or organization under the authority of the Department of Health and Human Resources who have committed acts of abuse, neglect or misappropriation of property against any person under the care, custody or control of any agency or organization.
MTSTCIL will support legislation that requires inclusion of people with disabilities on state policy making boards and commissions to ensure that people with disabilities have a voice that promotes equal access.
