Smoke Detectors in Use
Chart description: In a report of smoke detectors in homes where there were fires during fiscal year 2006, the chart above shows if smoke detectors were present in the residence:
- 30 percent - smoke detectors were found
- 40 percent - did not have smoke detectors
- 30 percent - unknown due to extent of damage and/or other factors
