Ability Builds Leadership And Education - Consumer Advisory Council (ABLE/CAC)

As required in the Mountain State Centers for Independent Living (MTSTCIL) Articles of Incorporation, there is a consumer advisory council (CAC) for the Huntington and Beckley centers.

About the advisory council:

Members of ABLE/CAC established the following mission and vision statement:

The mission and vision of the Advocacy Builds Leadership and Education / Center Advisory Council is to:

Committee members are individuals with disabilities who participate in programs at MTSTCIL and are concerned with the advancement of MTSTCIL and its programs, as well as improving the quality of life of individuals with disabilities in the community.

Membership is open to any individual with a disability who either currently participates in, or has participated in the past, in programs at MTSTCIL.
