Congratulations to our contest winners!
Drawings were submitted by area schools and two first place winners were selected this year, one from Central City Elementary and one from Geneva Kent Elementary. All the students that participated drew a picture about someone they know with a disability or about their own life experience with disability awareness. Both the first place contest winners received a pizza party for their classroom at their school.
All the contest winner's received a certificate and a ribbon from Mountain State Centers for Independent Living. Thank you to all the schools that participated in our drawing contest and we look forward to seeing you all again in the fall of 2008.
