Advocacy Organizations:
- The Fair Shake Network is an association of West Virginians dedicated to a "fair shake" for people with disabilities and to the belief that diversity makes our communities stronger.
- West Virginia Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) provides leadership to a statewide movement to empower people with disabilities.
- The West Virginia Women's Commission exists to improve the quality of life for state women including giving women the information and the skills they need to become advocates for themselves.
