Beckley's 17th Anniversary Celebration:
June 2, 2005

Mountain State Centers for Independent Living in Beckley celebrated it's 17th anniversary at Little Beaver State Park in Beckley on June 2, 2005.

Despite the uncooperative weather a good time was had by the 36 attendees who braved the cold, wind and rain.

Attendees had the opportunity to fellowship and eat lots of delicious traditional picnic food prepared by the Beckley and Sistersville staff and President/CEO Anne Weeks. Although the uncooperative weather prevented us from being able to fish and ride the paddle boats, a few brave souls walked around the lake in the misty rain. We had lots of fun playing games and drawing names for door prizes.
