Third prize winner- The Jester

He didn't win a prize, but he will be back next year!
Almost 500 people attended the FIL (Foundation for Independent Living) Crazy 28 Halloween Bingo held on Friday October 28, 2005. There were 56 bingo players dressed up in costumes to participate in the Halloween Costume contest. Four judges were randomly picked from the bingo players who were not in costume to select the top five contestants.
After the top five were selected, the audience selected the top 3 winners based upon their applause.
Several of the bingo staff also dressed in costumes in order to further add to the Halloween spirit. One staff member's daughter drove from Atlanta, GA to work bingo because she had such a good time helping with the Labor Day bingo special!
FIL netted about $2000 that will go toward the purchase of items such as ramps, home modifications, shower chairs, and hearing aids to assist people with disabilities in achieving independence.
Thank you to all who attended and we look forward to next year's ghoulish event!
