Cabell-Huntington Unity Apartments - Cooking Classes

Mountain State Centers for Independent Living (MTSTCIL) and Cabell-Huntington Unity Apartments have formed a community partnership to provide cooking classes for residents at Unity Apartments and consumers of Mountain State Centers for Independent Living.

Classes will be held in kitchen space provided by Cabell-Huntington Unity Apartments. MTSTCIL staff will teach classes in basic nutrition, meal planning, the correct use of kitchen utensils, measuring ingredients, and cooking safety. As part of the class, participants will have the opportunity to practice the rules of dining etiquette including setting the table and social skills while dining.

For MTSTCIL consumers who require transportation, MTSTCIL provides scheduled transportation from MTSTCIL in Huntington to Cabell-Huntington Unity Apartments for all cooking classes.
