Hot enough for you? Even though we are having one of the hottest summers on record, our friends and sponsors were there for Walk for Independence 2011.
As an acknowledgement to the 21st anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act a proclamation from President Obama was read to the crowd.
The Thundertones of Marshall University sang the national anthem.
They also sang several old time songs during registration.
The award goes to Peggy Campbell.
